The Garden Route Badgers Colts will host Western Province this weekend in the Cricket South Africa provincial Colts competition.
The matches, a three-day match from Thursday 4 December to Saturday 6 December, followed by a one-day match on Sunday 7 December, will take place at the REC Cricket Stadium in Oudtshoorn. The home side enters the weekend with plenty of confidence after their impressive victory over Eastern Province at St George’s Park in Gqeberha.
Several professional players will be available as part of the Badgers’ preparation for their all-important CSA Four-Day clash against the Eastern Cape Iinyathi later this month. The Badgers squad for the weekend is: Breyton Plaatjies, Kurt Botha, Pheko Moletsane, Benni Hansen, Heath Richards, Jonathan Bester, Enathi Khitshini, Jade Richter, Elih Thorne (captain), Zack Momberg, Sintu Majiza, Reagon Rhode, Grant Esau, Liyabona Ma-life and Mondli Ngobesi.
