Kingdom News: Spiritual Awakening

There comes a moment. A pause in the noise. A flicker of clarity amidst the blur. And suddenly, you feel it. That ache. Not a physical one, but something far deeper…ancient, sacred.

A longing that has no name. A homesickness for somewhere you’ve never fully seen, but your spirit somehow remembers. That’s the beginning of awakening. For years, we hustle. We run. We numb. We dance through parties, pour another drink, chase another success, fill our calendars, our arms, our social feeds… and yet, still… we feel it: Empty. Exhausted. Unsettled.

And the lie whispers louder: “Try harder. Maybe the next one will work.” But nothing satisfies. Because, beloved, nothing can. You were created for Eden. For walking in the cool of the day with God. For intimacy. For purpose that echoes in eternity. For a soul filled with peace, not performance. But sin fractured that story. And ever since, we’ve been reaching for fig leaves and false lovers to cover the ache.

But no party, no person, no platform, no pleasure will ever quiet that holy hunger.

Only the Spirit of God can. And He doesn’t come in noise.

He comes in stillness. In surrender. In a whisper that breaks the soul open just wide enough for living water to rush in. Some of us only realize this after decades being lost. We wake up at 40, 50, 60 years old, wondering where the time went and why our hearts are still not at rest.

But here’s the scandal of grace: You can come home now. Yes, even after all the wandering. Even after the brokenness, the rebellion, the regret. Even if you don’t re-cognize yourself anymore. The Father isn’t counting your wasted years. He’s counting your next breath as an invitation.“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jer 29:13).

There’s no shortcut. You’ll have to surrender. You’ll have to let go of your own understanding, your pride, your striving. But in return… peace. Deep, marrow-soaking peace. So, come home, dear soldier. Lay down your weapons. The fight to fill your own soul is over.

There’s rest in His presence. And yes, the ache remains, but now it’s holy. Now it leads you home. “He has set eternity in the human heart…” (Ecc 3:11)

Only He can fill it. Welcome back, beloved! (VICKY LUDICK)

Are you doing the Devil’s job for free?
The most tolerated sin in the church isn’t lust or pride. It’s gossip, disguised as “discernment.”
We lay hands on demons at the altar but ignore the serpent on our tongue.

We call it “venting,” “just being real,” or “processing”, but Heaven calls it slander.
You don’t need to be a witch to do witchcraft.

Just twist truth, speak out of turn, and release words that divide.
That’s gossip.

And it’s killing the Body from the inside out.

If you talk about someone without permission, in a way that doesn’t restore, to a person who can’t help, it’s gossip. Not discernment.

Some of the most “spiritual” conversations are actually spiritual warfare, but you’re the one the enemy’s using.

It doesn’t matter if your “discernment” is accurate. If your heart is impure, your mouth is illegal.

The Bible uses the word “diabolos” for slanderers and the same word for Satan.

That means when you gossip, you’re literally doing the devil’s job for free.
And here’s the crazy part:

You can be praying in tongues while cursing someone with your native one.

You can preach fire on stage and light fires behind people’s backs.
Gossip separates friends. Gossip pollutes atmospheres.
Gossip invites demons into a ministry that was birthed in prayer.
You don’t need deliverance from gossip.

You need the fear of the Lord.

So, before you speak on someone, ask yourself: Would I say this if they were standing in the room with Jesus?

Final word: If it didn’t come from the Holy Spirit, and it wouldn’t survive the throne room, don’t let it survive your group chat.
