Her role in the team is that of a bowling all-rounder. She has been playing cricket for 12 years. Her journey began at Eastern Storms women’s team based in Benoni Gauteng whereafter she moved to join the Knights women’s team in Bloemfontein in the Free State.

The 34-year-old Kula joined the Garden Route Badgers women at the beginning of the 2025/2026 season when she was appointed as the captain. Through hard work and dedication, she was awarded as the Badgers women’s player of the season last season, and she will join the Badgers again for the upcoming season.

With her cricketing career she had great opportunities such as being involved in the T20 Mzansi Women’s Super League tournament in 2021. Another opportunity that was presented to her was being selected for the SA Emerging women’s team that toured Bangladesh in May 2025 for the one-day- and T20 series competitions,

In April 2026 she signed with Sessay cricket club which is based in England in Yorkshire for the 2026 Yorkshire women and girls cricket league campaign.

“Cricket has played an Immense role in my life by teaching me the values of teamwork, respect, discipline, hard work and gratitude”.

Mediclinic Klein Karoo vereer Sr Christa Serfontein hierdie Vrouemaand
