Katrisha re-elected as chairperson

Katrisha Strydom from the Union Stars Cricket Club in Oudtshoorn was re-elected as the chairperson of the SWD Women’s Cricket Association during the association’s virtual Annual General Meeting on Tuesday (18 May).

Debbie le Roux from Dysselsdorp CC was re-elected as vice-chairperson, and the elected executive committee members are Elize Arendse (Union Stars), Haroline Rhodes (Union Stars) and Megan Flagg (Plettenberg Bay Pioneers). This committee will serve for a period of two years.

The SWD Women’s cricket team had a very successful season. The team was undefeated and won Pool B of Cricket South Africa’s inter-provincial tournament that was hosted in Oudtshoorn.
