Corona: Blood testing and not breath testing anymore

THE Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works has suspended Evidentiary Alcohol Breath Testing as a response to Covid-19.
The department will now revert to blood testing as its primary method of testing drivers.

Drunken drivers should note that if they are found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol, they could face up to six years in prison and receive a fine of up to R120 000.

Those found guilty will also have a criminal record.
