International Cancer Survival Day celebrated in Oudtshoorn

To celebrate International Cancer Survivor Day, which occurs every year on the first Sunday of June, the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) - Southern Cape Karoo Region hosted a small event on Monday (7 June) to celebrate the survivors in Oudtshoorn. This day is set aside every year in order to celebrate hope and life with survivors and their families as a day of hope, support, and nurturing. On the day cancer survivors, their families and friends and Cansa’s Patient Service Volunteers Team came together. (Photo supplied)
