The Calitzdorp Expressed Festival is an expression of everything the lovely town of Calitzdorp has to offer.
From the award-winning wineries, delectable restaurants, quirky pubs, shops, and bakeries, this festival celebrates and showcases the incredible talents of the local community.
There will be an abundance of ways to entertain visitors during this wonderful wacky winter weekend.
There will be lifestyle, arts & crafts markets, wine tastings, a Church Bazaar, live music and sensational shows, eclectic art exhibitions, phenomenal food, wonderful wines, the Calitzdorp “Ons Karoo” Treasure hunt and cultural or heritage excursions to name a few.
Jakhals Events will host another epic trail run! The race will start and finish at De Krans Wines and will be meandering through the vineyards of De Krans Wines and alongside the Gamka River.
This unique trail will only be accessible during the race. There will be beautiful medals and lots of wine up for grabs.
Saturday 15 June 2024 | 5 km Fun Walk – for the whole family including Grandparents who would like to take part with Moms, Toddlers in prams and your 4 legged children.
There will also be a 9 km Tail Run – for the average fitness and the 21 km Trail Run for the hard-core runners.
