Every year on Madiba Day, our family delivers knitted jerseys and beanies to the babies who are born with AIDS and the unfortunate ones at the local clinics and at the farm schools. However this will be our first year that we ask people who are willing to knit throughout the year, until next year to take part on this special day.
We knitted 40+ jerseys this year and hopefully year by year it can increase with your help. For 67 minutes will never be enough, but a smile on a little one’s face and will always be worth it.
