The Halfaya Pass Shellhole decided to clean the graves of 15 soldiers at the Oudtshoorn Methodist Cemetery on Wednesday, 21 February 2024.The graves of James Conroy of 32 Bn, who was killed in action at the young age of 20, and 14 other fallen soldiers were included in the clean – up.
The concepts of true comradeship, mutual help and sound memory are the inspiration of a remarkable organisation of ex-front-line soldiers, of all ranks, known as M.O.T.H (Memorable Order of Tin Hats).
