Premier, ministers, mayors and managers in town
THE Oudtshoorn Municipality hosted the Western Cape Premier’s Forum on Tuesday in the Municipal Banquet Hall.
The forum was attended by premier Helen Zille as chairperson, all cabinet ministers of the Western Cape provincial government, officials of the provincial government, other stakeholders relevant to the topics, Western Cape mayors and municipal managers.
The objectives of the meeting was to share and discuss opportunities and challenges posed by innovation within government. The meeting was also intended to engage with and share lessons on social, governance and infrastructure-related innovations and good practices in dealing with water scarcity and drought management.
The meeting rotates between towns in the Western Cape.
