Pediatric Care Africa is excited to announce its second annual Donkeys Delivering Dreams fundraiser, running from 9 to 24 April.
This 16-day event aims to raise funds for the revamp and improvement of the Paediatric Ward at Oudts-hoorn Provincial Hospital.
Serving the community’s most vulnerable, the paediatric ward provides children with essential care, comfort, and healing.
The goal is to create a welcoming, safe, and child-friendly environment by upgrading facilities, equipment, and overall aesthetics. A well-maintained ward not only aids recovery but also supports the emotional well-being of young patients and their families.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly towards this revamp project. In addition, the event will promote responsible donkey care, humane treatment, and highlight the vital role donkeys play in many livelihoods.
Businesses are invited to partner through the following:
• Financial contributions – brand a day during the donkey cart ride.
• Donations – materials, refreshments, branding items, and other contributions.
• Support with logistics.
