In recognition of the International Day of Caves and the Subterranean World on 06 June 2025, the Cango Caves – one of South Africa’s most iconic underground wonders – is proud to support the global #CaveDay initiative led by the International Show Caves Association. Join the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality in celebrating the International Day of Cango Caves. SPECIAL FOR SCHOOLS (9 – 13 JUNE 2025).
Schools in the Oudtshoorn district are invited to enjoy free entry for up to 50 learners per school during 9 – 13 June 2025. Transport must be arranged by the school. To secure your spot, please contact the cave’s officials, e-mail reservations@cangocaves.co.za.
