Cricket South Africa (CSA) has officially confirmed the dates and venues for its annual national youth cricket tournaments, which are set to take place across the country in December and early January. The tournaments remain an important platform for identifying and developing the next generation of South African cricket talent.
The action will begin with the Under-13 Boys Regional Tournament, scheduled for Johannesburg from 1 to 4 December. Young cricketers from various regions will compete for top honours while showcasing their skills at one of the country’s premier youth events.
Attention will then shift to the Under-16 age group, with the Boys Tournament taking place in Bloemfontein from 8 to 12 December. At the same time, the Under-16 Girls Tournament will be hosted in Pretoria from 9 to 12 December, highlighting CSA’s continued commitment to the growth of women’s cricket at grassroots level.
The country’s top young female players will also feature in the Under-19 Girls National Tournament in Port Elizabeth from 15 to 18 December. Meanwhile, the prestigious Khaya Majola National Under-19 Tournament, regarded as one of the most important events on the youth cricket calendar, will take place in Stellenbosch from 16 to 20 December.
CSA also confirmed that the annual Cubs Week tournament will return to Stellenbosch from 3 to 7 January 2026, bringing together some of the country’s brightest schoolboy cricketers for another highly anticipated competition.
