SWD Cricket umpires’ awards

The SWD Cricket Umpires Association held their Annual General Meeting and awards function at Rooirivierrif in George last Saturday.

Special awards for exemplary commitment and service to the association were handed-over to Moses Carolus, James Phillips and Wilhelm Sanders.

Luzuko Mralazi received the award as administrator of the year, San-Marie Strydom as the most improved umpire and as the keenest umpire.

The league winners were:

  • Women’s Division 1: Deidre Majiedt
  • Women’s Division 2: Cedlan Solomons
  • Reserve League: John Frans
  • Promotion League: Pieter Maritz
  • Premier League: Lyndon Volkwyn
