Oudtshoorn High School this year again delighted art lovers with its annual Art and Photo exhibition held in the school hall. The event was opened by local artist and businessman, Kobus Spies, who shared his own love for art with guests and students. A great abundance of art from ten schools from Oudtshoorn were on show. Here are two of Oudtshoorn High’s young artists, Bevin Herold (Grade 12, left) and Constance Jonkers with some of their art works. Bervin finds his inspiration from the beauty in people and their facial features, while Constance believes that art tells a story and is linked to nature.
